It’s Been a While!

Hello loves! It has been a while since I have written on my blog, I have had a lot going on the past week or so between school and appointments. I do not have a specific topic to write about today, I just thought I would bring everyone up to speed. So a week ago today I went in to Buffalo General Hospital to have an ascemic forearm test done….whatever that means. Basically they are checking me for any sort of muscle disorder. The test was for the new doctor that I may be seeing, hopefully soon because he is apparently a genius at diagnosing. That went pretty well. Then on Sunday I went into Quest for the blood work and testing that I needed from the time I passed out and couldn’t have it done. We got most of the blood work done that was needed, but not all of it because I passed out AGAIN. That was frustrating. Then over the weekend for Halloween my sister and I painted pumpkins instead of carving them. That way, they can last up until Thanksgiving. My friend came over in the evening and we watched scary movies and ate candy. I was a little nervous about the candy part, but I pushed myself anyways and I’m here to tell the tale so it all worked out.

Then on Tuesday I went into school to take an exam. I think it went okay! I am crossing my fingers. I have had a lot of schoolwork this week, but I am looking forward to the end of the semester, it is almost insight!

Anyways, I know this is a short post and not very interesting, but I did want to write a quick something to let you guys know that I did not forget about my blog, and that I will have more posts to come in the future.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Thanks for the update. You are taking steps to move forward with your life. That’s all you need to do!!

Soon you will be done with all the preliminary testing and be able to actually meet with the genius new doctor!

And you are right…the end of the school semester is almost here. You will have so many more credits toward your degree!!

And you ate candy while watching (scary) movies with a friend??

Sounds like you are not going to let any of your illnesses stop you from getting what you want out of life!! I’m so proud of you, Bella!! You should be proud of your progress, too!!

  2. Taking exams, painting pumpkins, scary movies with a friend — I agree that you are doing all the best things fall has to offer, and not letting your medical issues get in the way at all. Great that you didn’t shy away from the candy. It’s a cultural tradition, even patriotic! You were very brave and sounds like it paid off. What a fun Halloween!
