5 Things Friday (Self-Care & Beauty Haul)

Hello loves! Happy Friday! It is that time of the week again where I share a fun, light-weight post with you guys to kick off the weekend! Today, I thought I would do my first ever 5 Things Friday post, but my way. I want to share with you five, new favorite beauty and stress relief items that I use the most often. Let us begin!

  1. sumbody Stress Zapper and Immune Lifter Zapper

This brand of special roll on aromatherapy perfumes came from Tony Walker Center. There are several different kinds, but I liked the stress and immune lifter scents the best! The directions for the stress zapper state: “apply zapper to temples, wrists, and other pulse points. Breathe in the aromatherapy to calm frazzled nerves and restore balance.” It really is calming! The instructions for the immune lifter state: “apply as needed to wrists, throat, and temples at the first sign of imbalance or when exposed to germs to boost your immune system and strengthen the body against flus and colds.” I have used this a few times so far, and I swear it works! The scent is really nice, too.

2. Mint Julips Lip Scrub (from Lush)

This exfoliating lip scrub from Lush is amazing! This has to be one of my favorite products out of all of the ones I will be discussing. It comes in popcorn flavor and mint chocolate, which is what I have. If your lips are chapped and there is some dead skin (gross, I know), this is great to take a small finger full and rub on your lips. The best part is that you can just lick it off because it is all natural! Not only that, but it tastes delicious too! This product really works and makes my lips super soft. I have a problem with chapped lips so this is a life savor! I highly recommend this product 🙂

3. Lotion Bar (ALSO from Lush)

This. is. amazing. The end. Okay, not really the end, but it is super great! My aunt bought this for me because I have a lot of knots in the back of my neck and am super tight, and this lotion bar works wonders for massaging my neck. You can rub it anywhere on your body, and particularly in places where you feel tension and you will feel the tension start to be released. No joke! I love using it, but I try not to use it too often because I want it to last me a while. Since it is mearly lotion, the bar will go down eventually. There are several different shapes and kinds. I really suggest checking them out!

4. Gel Bead Mask

This mask truly works wonders. I found it at Bed Bath and Beyond, and is made of these little gel beads that move around if you squish them and press them. This mask is a double threat! If you put it on after letting it soak in cold water, it relieves puffiness around the eyes. If you put it on after letting it soak in warm/hot water, it helps to relieve headaches and migraines, especially around the eye area. I have used this a few times and I love it – it really works and it has made my headaches go away!

5. Beauty Balm (from Sephora)

This Beauty Balm is literally a life savor! I wear it almost every day whenever I go out. It is very lightweight and good for your skin! It is basically like a concealer but one that nourishes your skin and does not clog pores. When I wear it I put it all over my skin with a makeup brush. If you go into Sephora, they will help you match up the correct balm with your skin tone – that is what they did for me. It is also spf 25 which is great for summer time! This product has purifying botanical actives, anti-irritation and blemish soother, and hides uneven skin tones.

Well that’s it for my 5 Things Friday! I hope this post was helpful and that you enjoyed it. Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Tell Me: Did you like the way I did this post? Was it helpful or interesting? Would you like to see more posts like this? Do you have any of these products or would you like to get any? Feel free to share – I would love to hear from you!
