We are Wildflowers

This quote above is beautiful, and incredibly accurate so I decided to share it with all of you. I have been doing a lot of thinking this evening, and feeling all sorts of mixed emotions. I am home alone; my dad went out sailboat racing, my sister is at dance, and my other sister is babysitting across the street while my mother is at a wedding shower. I wanted to go with my sister to help babysit, but I wasn’t feeling well and I am pretty sore today-so I was left with the option of staying home. I decided to watch the movie “Fault in our Stars” (which ALWAYS makes me cry), and to my surprise my sister showed up with the little baby she was watching so I was able to hold her! She was so precious. I was sad when they left-I could play with babies and hold them for hours…but I finished my movie in a puddle of tears and went outside on our back porch to watch the beautiful sunset. It was then that I realized that I shouldnt be envious of other people, what they are doing, or what they are capable of doing that I am not. There is plenty that I am capable of. I have this wonderful blog that allows me to reach out to other people. I can express myself through writing. No, I was not able to go and babysit with my sister, but I had the pleasure of seeing the baby because my sister was thinking about me and decided to bring her to visit. I may not be completely healthy, and I may not be able to do all of the things I would love to do right now, but I am so blessed, and I have to realize that and make the most of my situation. That is all any of us can do. We are wildflowers, and we have to bloom wherever we are planted. Have a good evening everyone < 3
